Designer
Design mechanical, optical, or electrical components and systems and subsystems for space flight, aircraft, and ground-based instrument systems at various levels of complexity. Interface with engineering and manufacturing personnel to ensure design meets requirements, is manufacturable, and testable. Use various design tools (Pro-E, SDRC/IDEAS, ORCAD, PADS, etc.) to develop fabrication and assembly drawings. Support design reviews through generation of various assembly views, present design approach and assembly approaches. Understand ANSI drawing standards, PWB fabrication/design and/or tolerancing requirements. Function as a .checker. in support of other design personnel.
