Operations Analyst
Manage resources (computer material and personnel) for operations of a data processing system. Initiate tasks and monitor data production systems to ensure that needed tasks are running and no anomalies are present. Compile, report, and evaluate data production system results. Monitor resources such as tape pools and disk space. Notify appropriate staff when failures or problems occur. Update the production log according to progress. Develop and monitor overall production plan and operation procedures. Interface with system development, systems administration, and database and CM groups regarding schedules and planning and procedure development and documentation.
