Outreach Specialist
Design, Develop, Coordinate, and Execute Education and Science Outreach efforts in coordination with research and management personnel and intended outreach audience. Design and develop EPO products that are targeted for selected audiences. Coordinate research resources, conduct workshops with teachers and educators, and develop student field trip itineraries and experiments. Coordinate with research scientists and projects to perform education-oriented research using student data. Direct and manage the development and update of education outreach Web infrastructure that enables museums and other public information outlets to access products for use in their displays. Interact with museums and other public sites to develop ideas and features for science exhibits. Prepare material for workshops and conferences and attend conferences to present outreach activities. Develop proposal material associated with outreach plans and approaches.
